Branding yourself for online success

Too many distributors in programs are all making the same mistake that is keeping them from producing multiple streams of income and having true long term success. They are branding their company too much but not themselves! It is a MUST that you do the opposite. You have to brand yourself before your program or activity. Everybody is taught to simply brand their company but this cripples most people from ever becoming independent and makes them only a cog in the system for that company. If you want to be a cog, then all you have to do is go to your job.Now, obviously it makes sense to brand your company or activity if you are going to get paid. But if you do it to the point of where you take yourself completely out of the equation, your prospects are going to see your opportunity as the answer and not YOU. This makes you appear as nothing more than a middleman and compromises your ability to build your own personal list, which in fact is the entire key to success in prospecting. If you are seen as nothing more than a middleman, then you appear more of an obstacle than someone with value to your prospect.If you are just connecting prospects with a company, then you are cutting yourself off from the stream of money. The prospects must be connected with you first if you are going to achieve true success. It is a shame for those who just connecting people with a company because it is THEM who is doing all the work!The perks of branding yourself- When prospects see you as the brand first and not your company, you are seen as an expert and a solution.- You will have the ability to build your own list of people that follow you - not just the company you represent.- If something happens to your company, you will still have the list of people following you and any direction you choose to go. But by prospecting people to YOU, you will be able to take that list everywhere!- You could create multiple streams of income from your list, and be solution provider for those people. Most people are taught to believe that all the money is supposed to come from their one opportunity or business, but top network marketers know that the REAL money is in the list. With the list of followers, you will be able to join ANY opportunity and make money in it because you will already have a list of valuable prospects waiting on you to tell them where to go next!So now all you have to do is be able to understand HOW to brand yourself and that takes someone with knowledge of this sitting down and showing you one on one. I will say however, that the key is being unique. Whatever it is about yourself that will make you stand out from everybody else is what will give you an identity in the industry. This is a topic that isn't explored as much as it should be but have you taken the time to put your wants and lofty goals on the backburner for 5 minutes to consider what exactly it is that your prosects want? I have come across so much content on the internet lately of people shoving their opportunities down people's throats they before even considering what it is that prospects are needing.
The fact is that not every person online is looking to join somebody who is proclaiming that they can make $100,000 dollars in some magical program - no matter how true that may actually be. A lot of people who come across this type of stuff are ALREADY involved and have probably seen every opportunity from A to Z presented to them. So, what is it they are looking for? To answer this, you would have to put yourself into their shoes.
If you were invovled or looking to get involved in an online program such as cash gifting or mlm, what would be the first thing you would be looking to do in order to start making money? Before you answer that, how about going out and ASKING some prospects this question yourself. The reason I say this is because that is the key to finding out what your prospects want. Building relationships and talking to people is how you get into their minds and find what it that they are needing. Life Of A Network Marketer

As a network marketer, one of the most frequent questions I get from people outside of the industry is what exactly is it that I do? Well, to start off, my days begin with opening up my email inbox and responding to tons of email from a list of prospects. These prospects are people from all walks of life that I have made relationships with who were interested in what I had to offer. These people are entreprenuers, other successful internet marketers and consultants but most importantly, people who are MOTIVATED. All these people are looking to create great things and present them to the world one day and it is ME they are looking toward to help them do this.
Some of these people have creative ideas that can one day change an entire industry, others are just people looking for a better opportunity. Whatever their situation is, me and the people I have trained under me, all have the knowledge that these people need and are seeking in order to do the great things they are looking to do. Network marketing is the most powerful thing anyone could ever look to get involved in because it allows you to have a web of people and sources around you. This is vital when being an entrepreneur because when building your own business, it is not what you know, it's WHO you know! With enough smart, motivated people around you there is no business venture you cannot succeed in.
So the day I decided to be an entrepreneur, I went and turned as many people as I could into a success and the final result was me sitting ontop of a "pryamid" of now successful and powerful people underneath me who I now have helping me distribute my business - or any business venture I choose to take part in. This is what being a network marketer is. It is not some punch in and punch out, 9 to 5 j.o.b. However, it doesn't require any genius to do it either..just the will to put yourself out there and talk to people. The value in being a network marketer is immeasurable!
